Downloads MERRA-2 products using a links list provided by the Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Server Center (GES DISC)

Calling Sequence

usage: gesdisc_merra_download.py [-h] [--user USER] [--password PASSWORD]
                                 [--netrc NETRC] [--directory DIRECTORY]
                                 [--timeout TIMEOUT] [--log] [--verbose]
                                 [--mode MODE]
                                 file [file ...]

Positional Arguments

file: GESDISC links list file

Named Arguments

--user, -U: Username for NASA Earthdata Login
--password, -W: Password for NASA Earthdata Login
--netrc, -N: Path to .netrc file for authentication
--directory, -D: Working data directory
--timeout, -t: Timeout in seconds for blocking operations
--log, -l: Output log file
--verbose, -V: Verbose output of run
--mode, -M: Permission mode of directories and files synced
